Thousands forced to flee French Riviera wildfires

At the height of tourist season, French authorities have ordered thousands to evacuate as fast moving blazes sweep across the Mediterranean coast.  France is just the latest country to face a spat of wildfires, with dry conditions persisting across much of western Europe.  Read more here.

Bus crash in Germany leaves 18 dead, calls into question fire safety measures

CFPA-EU looks at new tech to prevent job site fires
